Cherry Picker/ Scissor Hoist Harness Warning Systems
Daley Securities provides bespoke solutions to the problem
of monitoring operator safety in cherry pickers and scissor hoists.
We developed our unique solution after an existing customer
got fed up with donning his PPE (Personal Protection Equipment),
leaving his cozy warm office and dodging vehicles to check
whether the operator dangling out of the cherry picker's
cage was buckled to the harness anchor point!
The system works by use of a heavy-duty switch mechanism
clamped to the anchor points - without the need for drilling.
When the harness carabineer is locked in the anchor point
the switch activates two green LED lamps located either
side of the basket. If two operators are working in the cage
another bank of lights will illuminate.
We provide a bespoke service for this product due to the
range of different cherry pickers and
scissor hoists in use. If your cherry picker or scissor hoist
is not one we have previously worked with then a visit will
be necessary to take measurement, photographs and assess
where we attach the different parts (LED lamps, switch
assemblies etc) of our product. We charge for the visit
but if a purchase is then made this charge is deducted
from the invoice.
Technical Details
Our systems work on either 12 volt or 24 volt DC.
